What can I expect in the prayer room?

Each weekly Prayer Room session is one (1) hour. A leader will provide direction and a prayer format
to help participants pray for the hour. Simple worship
or recorded music will usually be shared.

Why are we starting
a weekly prayer room?

“I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be
glorified in the Son” (John 14r:13)

  • To have a space where people can learn how to pray. The Prayer Room is not just
    for veteran prayers or “people who are passionate for prayer.” It’s also for people who
    don’t know how to pray to learn and for people who aren’t passionate to grow.

  • To continue putting prayer at the center of the life of our church, believing that
    we will see more of the Lord’s presence and power if we ask for it.

  • Because a Prayer Room is very simple to “pull off.” It doesn’t take a lot of production
    or up-front leadership. It’s a simple, repeatable space that allows us to make corporate
    prayer a normal, simple, regular exercise.
