frequently asked questions

What ages does Fellowship Kids serve?
Fellowship Kids provides classes for children from 4 months old through 5th grade. We have dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged students.
What safety measures are in place for my child?
We work hard to provide a safe, fun environment for our kids! All of our volunteers undergo background checks and receive regular training. We use a secure check-in and check-out system, and we notify parents via text when we need to contact you during the service.
What will my child be learning?
Our curriculum is designed to be age-appropriate and engaging, focusing on biblical teachings and the love of Jesus. Each week, children will experience fun interactive lessons, worship, and small group activities.
How do I check-in my child?
When you arrive, head to the Kids’ Check-In station and look for the Greeter, who will guide you through the computerized check-in, give you information, and help you print your child’s name tag. You can also start the pre-registration process here.
Is there a program for children with special needs?
We currently handle children with special needs on a case-by-case basis via our Buddy Ministry. When possible, we pair students with special needs with an assigned buddy to help them participate in our Fellowship Kids classes.
What should my child bring?
Your child does not need to bring anything special. We provide all necessary materials for lessons and activities. If your child has any specific needs or allergies, please inform our team during check-in.
Are snacks provided?
We do provide snacks for certain age groups. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at check-in, and we will ensure your child receives a suitable snack.
Can my child stay in the service with me?
Children are welcome to stay with a parent in the main service if that is a preferable option for your family. We believe children are valuable members of our church community, and we want them to experience thoughtful teaching and care in their classes or the service.
What time do the children’s services start?
Fellowship Kids services are held during our regular service times at both congregations on Sundays.
How can I volunteer with Fellowship Kids?
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team! If you are interested, please start by filling out the Volunteer Application Form and we’ll reach out to you with more information.
