Have questions?
Are we leasing or buying the building?
We are entering into a lease agreement with Mile High Vineyard, the building’s current owners. The lease will include a purchase option that we can exercise at any point during the lease term.
How did this opportunity come about?
In October, Arvada Vineyard approached us about potentially taking over the space. They have outgrown it and are acquiring a new building nearby. They have been great friends to us during the start of the North Metro congregation (we’ve used their building for several events) and want to see Fellowship Denver do well. They also wanted this building to continue being used for ministry and for their move to be a “win-win” for the kingdom of God.
What needs to be done to update the building?
The building is in great condition and is “church-ready.” We need to make simple improvements to freshen up furnishing, decor and signage that will make it feel like home.
How will this move affect our operating budget?
Leasing and operating the building will add $175-200k to our annual budget. We believe this is a good investment given the additional visibility and functionality we’ll gain. The good news is that North Metro is doing an “Establish & Advance” initiative this fall to grow their generosity. Their commitments and expected gifts from Establish & Advance will cover all of this additional operating cost. Additional money raised from here will be used to cover the upfront cost of furnishing, decor and signage.
When will we move into the building?
Our timeline will be based on when Arvada Vineyard moves to their new home. Based on what we know today, we anticipate them moving out in late January. After that, we’ll need a brief period of time to make our improvements before moving in.

A Note from hunter
It took Fellowship Denver 11 years to find our first full time home on South Broadway. It was a game-changer! The transition from “mobile church” to “home” gave us a place to multiply ministries, serve our neighbors and welcome newcomers to discover Jesus. Many of you have joined us since then!
That’s why I’m excited for North Metro to take this step. For them to do in two years what originally took eleven is an incredible grace from the Lord. I have no doubt it’ll open up new avenues of ministry and help more people discover Jesus.
This is an opportunity the Lord has given us. As I write this in November ‘24, this building opportunity was not on our minds even two months ago. But through the kingdom-mindedness of Arvada Vineyard and the prayers of our North Metro leaders, the Lord has brought this to be.
Let’s move forward in faith!
