As Christians, we know that we should do something about poverty and injustice. But what? Can one person really make a difference? Many at Fellowship Denver are looking for a way to invest their lives into someone or something that will contribute to real change and give others a taste of the kingdom.
“Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.” Jeremiah 29:7
Serve Denver is our church’s partnership initiative with local non-profit organizations. We encourage our members to serve the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of fellow Denverites. By partnering with effective, healthy organizations, we multiply our efforts. We challenge you to find your focus rather than skimming the surface of social causes or fluttering from one event or fundraiser to another. Serve Denver is focused on helping cultivate sustained, intelligent and passionate investment by our members in local organizations who are doing gospel-centered work with a holistic focus on tangible and spiritual care.
