On any given Sunday you will find me teaching classes, leading trainings, doing announcements or preaching (about once a month). During the week I provide leadership and mentoring to our staff, interns and deacons. I also set aside time for pastoral care for our church body. On Monday afternoons I teach local church leaders (both future and present) as an adjunct professor at Denver Seminary and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (Rocky Mountain Campus).
My wife, Renee, is an avid runner, reader and works as the primary hand therapist at Blue Sky Rehabilitation. We were married July 29th 2000 and moved to Denver in 2005 to help start Fellowship Denver Church. We have three boys: Will (2004), Ian (2006) and Beckett (2009) who love taekwondo, Legos and Nerf guns. Renee and I enjoy entertaining at our house, binge watching TV series (top three: Friday Night Lights, Homeland and Luther) and family movie night. We live in Congress Park and volunteer at our local DPS school.
