During our 9:00am service we offer structured classes for children ages 6 months through 5th grade.
The following programs run during our first service. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each service:
Little Tweets (6 – 24 months) At this age, our goal is to serve parents so they can participate in the worship service with peace of mind. Children are cared for by dedicated volunteers in a safe environment. Be sure to bring any diaper bags, sippy cups, and snacks that the caregivers will need. This classroom is subdivided into "infants" and "walkers."
Friendly Fish (2 & 3 years) Toddlers need a little more room to roam and new things to discover. This class includes a short lesson, songs, snacks, and creative play.
Crazy Apes (4 & 5 Years) Pre-schoolers participate in a structured class time which incorporates an age-appropriate Bible lesson and story, along with creative play, music, crafts, and snacks.
The following takes place during the sermon. Elementary-aged students start in the worship service with their parents for singing and are dismissed in the break before the sermon:
Leaping Lizards (K & 1st Grade) / Mighty Lions (2nd & 3rd Grade) / Wise Owls (4th & 5th Grade) These classes incorporate gospel-centered teaching for school-age children that emphasizes God’s never-ending love and His plan to redeem the world through Jesus. Crafts, music, and snacks are included. Participation is optional, as some parents prefer for their children to be in the worship service with them.
During our 10:45am service we offer childcare for children ages 6 months through 5th grade.
The following programs run during our second service. All second service children's classes are loosely structured and focus more on thoughtful care than teaching. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each service:
Little Tweets (6 – 24 months)
Combined Friendly Fish / Crazy Apes (2 - 5 Years)
Combined Elementary Classes (K - 5th Grade)
All of our children’s programs are created with these goals:
Have fun! We want children to enjoy coming to church. So we put a lot of energy into preparing interesting, creative environments for them.
Experience God’s Love. Children begin forming impressions of God at an early age, and we believe their experience at church is an important part of that. We want them to know God as their loving Creator. So we choose biblically sound curriculum, crafts, and music that reflect his love.
Serve parents. We know it’s easier to worship and learn when you know your kids are well cared-for. Therefore, we are especially conscious about creating a safe, secure environment.
